This week we will really begin our discussion of Africa. We will be talking about the Geography, European Colonization, African Nationalist Movements, Apartheid and Health Issues.
Today, we are working mainly on vocabulary. We are defining 14 terms and using each of the words in a sentence. If they do not get finished, this is for homework.
Our newscast presentations are due on Wednesday of this week. The topics that the children were allowed to choose from were: the Korean War, the Vietnam War, Post World War 2 China or Japan and the colonization of China. A visual aid is needed. I sent out a sheet with all of the requirements with all of the kids.
