Well, the year is progressing along. Some students are getting busy with after school activities and homework. Please encourage your child to do his/her reading homework. It is of the utmost importance that your child practice his/her reading skills. Reading improves with practice and to get better, students must read! 
 
Today, for each class, I am going to list all assignments (both homework and classwork) that at least one student is missing and the date each one was due. Please check with your child and see if he/she has missing work. The sooner missing work is turned in, the sooner I can replace the "0" grade with a better one. Also, please remind your child to check the "No Name Place" and the "Re-Do Folders" to ensure that everything they turn in is getting the highest grade possible. If I don't know who did the work, I don't know who to give the credit to! Also, many assignments can be redone to raise a failing grade. Please encourage your students to take advantage of this. Correcting mistakes is an important part of the learning process!
