The soccer banquet will be May 9th at 5:30 pm. Girls are to bring their favorite ice cream topping and boys are to bring two 2 liter sodas. Dress will be casual, dressing up will not be necessary.

Today's game has been canceled due to weather. It will be rescheduled and the date will be announced as soon as possible. Our next game will be next Friday, March 14th at Ringgold starting at 4:30. Practice will resume on Monday at LaFayette High School until 5:30. Enjoy your weekend!

The uniforms are in and will be handed out at practice today. If you have not turned in money the please do so soon. The cost is $63.50 plus any parent or t-shirt orders. Tomorrow's playday is still on. The gate cost is $3 for adults, $2 for children 10 and under, and children 3 and under are free. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Soccer practice has been moved today to the LaFayette Academy due to the weather. We will still end practice at 5:30. Also, March 1st will be our play day and we will be hosting. All of the teams in the NGAC will be here. Wish us luck as we prepare for a great season. Uniforms and Hoodies will be in next week. Please bring in the money for those as soon as possible. Soccer tryouts will begin Monday immediately after school until 5:30. They will be held at the LMS main campus beside the baseball field. All forms and updated physicals must be turned in before a student can tryout. We are all looking forward to it!

Hello Everyone, 
 
I am one of the soccer coaches for the 2008 season. I coached during the 2007 season as well and enjoyed a great season. Over the summer I was married and went from being Miss Massey to Mrs. Fordney. On January 25 students will be invited to a spring sports sign up meeting. Soccer will have a table for both girls and boys. There will be a packet of information regarding tryouts, physicals, etc. The meeting for all 6th grade students will be at 8:00 a.m., and the meeting for all 7th and 8th grade students will be at 2:45 p.m. Tryouts will begin February 11th. We hope to see you there. This will be a great season!

I hope all is well. The banquet is being held May 21st in the cafeteria at the main campus. Money is due by this Thursday, May 17th so that we may have the order in on time. If money is not turned in by this date it will be too late to sign up. The cost is $5 per person. All money for uniforms, bags, etc. is also due by this date. If there are any questions feel free to email or call the school and leave a message and I will return it ASAP.

The NGAC soccer touranment will be held at LaFayette High School. The dates are April 27, 28, and 30 (Friday, Saturday, Monday). LaFayette girls will be playing the Ringgold girls at 5:30 on Friday on field two. The boys will be playing the Ringgold boys at 6:30 on Friday on field one. Everyone's help is appreciated. We will be playing Lakeview on Friday, March 30 @ LHS. Game time is 4:30 pm with the girls playing first and the guys following. Check the concessions list to make sure you can work that game. Guys parents work the girls game and girls parents work the guys game. Come on out and support, hope to see you there!
