The football team opened up the season with a big victory against Lakeview. Winning the game 45 - 12. The game was well in hand at the end of the first half with The Valley leading 30 - 0.

The Jamboree went well as the Varsity defeated Dade County 12 - 6 and Lafayette 15 - 0. The JV played very well against Dade having a TD called back and giving up a TD on the last play falling 6 -0. The JV tied against Lafayette 0 - 0.

The first JV football game will be Tuesday August 19th at Ringgold, Kickoff will be at 4:45. The Jamboree will be Friday August 22 at Ridgeland, we will play Dade County at 5:30 and Lafayette at 6:30. The Varsity will play 16 minute running clock while the JV will play 8 minutes, 4 minutes on offense and 4 minutes on Defense.
