The JV Lady Ramblers finished with a 10-2 record, which was an amazing accomplishment with eight 6th graders on the team! Coach Davis looks forward to returning the entire team next year and having an unstoppable season!
We only have 60 days to prepare for the CRCT.
Please remember that according to the No Child Left Behind Law that all students in the 8th grade must meet minimum standards on the CRCT in both Reading and Math to be eligible for promotion. We will be conducting an intensive after-school tutoring program, which will begin March 3, meeting 3 times weekly, and will conclude April 10. At the present time, we are only offering this tutoring to 8th grade students in an effort to help them meet the NCLB benchmark. If you are interested in your child participating in this tutoring program, please let your child’s homeroom teacher know. Space is limited, so please do not wait to notify your teacher.
We have had such a great first semester. In an effort to continually improve your child’s educational experience at LMS, we are requesting your feedback on the attached survey. The survey results will assist us in providing the best education possible for your children. Please return it to your child’s homeroom teacher as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Mike Culberson
