I hope that everyone enjoyed their day off from school. I enjoyed spending time with my family. Here are the latest happenings in our wonderful third grade classroom.  
*Author's Tea: Thursday, January 24 at 8:15 a.m. 
*We are having our first A.R. goal check for the nine weeks on Jan. 23rd. I will be looking to see who has made 25% of their A.R. goal. 
*Many of our nightly homework assignments will be CRCT practice. Remember to ask your child if he/she has their chapter book read for the week. Thank you for signing our new A.R. changes sheet. 
*Our t-shirts are in. We plan on wearing them tomorrow! Thank you for making this possible! 
*We will be working on the following standards in workshop next week: RW: Text to Text connections, WW: Persuasive Writing (you should see our debate posters in the hallway), MWS: Measurement, English: pronouns, Social Studies: Branches of Government.
