Literacy week was a great success. The students here at Naomi actually read 2798 books last week. As a reward I am going to paint my hair blue tomorrow. The students are very excited about humiliating me, and yes feel free to drop by and laugh at me if you have some free time. Ms. Bowdoin is going to video tape it and post it on the Internet if you don’t have time to be here in person.
It is crunch time. We only have 19 more instructional days before the CRCT. The end of the third 9 weeks grading period is Friday March 14, and report cards will be printed and sent home on March 17. This will give you plenty to discuss at the last round of parent conferences on March 18. Teachers will be contacting you soon about scheduling appointments for conferences. The last PTO meeting will take place later that night at 6:30; CRCT and after school programs are on the agenda. The talent show will also take place directly after the PTO meeting.
