Monday 8/18 
CW: Today we reviewed our tests. Students were given an opportunity to earn up to 12 additional points on their tests. In addition, I am available for after school tutoring next WED. 8/27 until 4 or 4:30 if needed. 
HW: Students are to choose 5 survey questions that they want to use on their end of unit project. 2-3 questions must be categorical (although only one may be a yes/no question) and 2-3 must be numerical. Questions should be CLEARLY WORDED. 
 
Tuesday 8/19 
CW: Today we will finish working on our additional points assignment. We also typed out our survey questions and created a frequency table for each one. 
HW: Finish creating your frequency tables.

TODAY WE FINISHED WORKING ON OUR INSTRUCTIONAL POSTERS IN CLASS. 
HW: WRITE 10 SURVEY QUESTIONS THAT YOU COULD ASK OTHER 6TH GRADERS. RECORD POSSIBLE CHOICES FOR EACH QUESTION. LABEL EACH QUESTION AS EITHER CATEGORICAL OR NUMERICAL. 
 
TUESDAY-8/12 
TODAY WE WORKED ON OUR MUSIC SURVEY GRAPHS AFTER CHOOSING WHICH GRAPH WAS MOST SUITABLE FOR THE DATA IN EACH QUESTION. 
HW: SEE MONDAY'S HW 
 
WEDNESDAY-8/13 
TODAY WE PEER REVIEWED OUR 10 POSSIBLE SURVEY QUESTIONS IN CLASS. 
HW: MUSIC SURVEY GRAPHS ARE DUE COMPLETED ON FRIDAY 8/15 
*POP TEST IS COMING TOMORROW!!! WORD WALL NOTEBOOKS WERE SENT HOME TODAY WITH IMPORTANT VOCABULARY IF STUDENTS WANTED TO TAKE THEM.  
 
THURSDAY-8/14 
TODAY WE TOOK OUR POP TEST, WORKED ON OUR 3 GRAPHS IF WE WEREN'T DONE YET, AND EDITED OUR SURVEY QUESTIONS IF WE HAD TIME.
