All students at Naomi were given the opportunity to submit original writing pieces to their teachers to be considered for entry into the Young Authors' Fair (YAF) competition. Each teacher selected one piece of student writing to represent his/her homeroom. The papers were then judged at the school level, with one winner selected from each grade. We are so proud of all of our wonderful student writers who will represent our school in the Walker County YAF competition.
This year, Naomi's grade level winners are:

4- Krista Allen
The student grade-level winners will attend the fair held at the Walker County Civic Center on Wednesday, May 3. The day will include a variety of interdisciplinary activities, lots of pizza and refreshments, and a special ceremony with engraved medals to honor all of our writing winners.
