We have a lot happening at school this final month! Students are learning the research process to find out information about amusement parks and/or rides. They will demonstrate mastery with a note cards, a bibliography, and a powerpoint show in which they present their findings. (Test grade.) 
 
Students are also using the research process to create a travel brochure for a trip across Georgia. (Test grade.) 
 
And finally, students will tap into their imagination to write a creative piece about rocket travel. This story will complement a science project in Mr. Odell's class. We'll wrap up the year with a rocket launch and a viewing of October Sky. (Test grade.)
