Fairyland recently purchased a new Smart Board. Students will benefit from this device by being able to interact, collaborate, and receive instant feedback. Please stop by the computer lab or Ms. Reneer's room to see the Smart Board in action.

Before school begins, a shared printer will be placed in the workroom. Any document not printed in your classroom should be sent to the workroom, not the computer lab or library. You can add this new printer to your laptop by reviewing my "Steps for Adding Shared Printers" blog entry.

We recently ordered two additional LCD projectors and five adapters that allow you to connect them to your Macbook. You can purchase an adapter of your own from the Apple Store online. As an educator, you receive a discount. The total purchase price for one adapter is slightly over $22.

Prior to spring break, our teachers received new MacBook laptop computers. We have also created a wireless network that is accessible throughout the building. After spring break, we plan on purchasing new classroom printers and a network printer that will be shared with all staff members. PowerGrade will be installed on our new laptops sometime before this school year ends.
If you have questions about your MacBook, please stop by the computer lab or e-mail me!
