LMS band students have learned a lot this school year. I would like to remind parents that it takes many years to develop the skills to be successful with a musical instrument. Band is designed to be a 6-12 grade activity and can only be successful with encouragement from home and from me. You will be surprised at what your child can do through music education!

The LHS marching band will be practicing for next year after school on the following dates: May 6, 13, and 20. This is for 8th graders going into 9th grade or 7th graders going into 8th grade.

The Spring Concert is coming up on Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00 p.m. The concert will feature performances by the sixth, seventh, and eighth grade bands. The concert will count as a major test grade, so please make plans to attend!
