Effective Monday, August 18, 2008, we will begin our nightly homework routine (M-TH) for LANGUAGE ARTS. The schedule below is a sample of what to expect; however, students will bring home a newsletter each MONDAY with the homework listed for the week.  
 
Homework is to be done on the day assigned and turned in at the beginning of class the next school day. Please keep in mind that late work is not accepted.  
 
Monday - Journal Entry 
Tuesday - Grammar Exercises 
Wednesday - Spelling 
Thursday - Vocabulary 
 
***SPECIAL NOTE FOR MRS. D'ANGELO'S HOMEROOM*** 
If you have me for homeroom, your child will also have a weekly Reading Log that will need to be completed at home. Students are required to read 120 minutes each week and write a minimum of three book summaries responding to the text read. The log will be sent home each FRIDAY and the log and summaries will be due the following FRIDAY. Again, no late work will be accepted.
