Until May 8 , Science Night, we will be working on our amusement park projects. We are working on these in class, but some students may want to work at home as well. I will be staying after school every day until the 8 , with the exception of Fridays. If your child is behind or just wants to help with special art work, etc. they can stay after school on those days. Most students are working well, but some are having difficulty getting down to business. This project will count as 2 major test grades (50%). Please help us by encouraging them and sending any supplies that you might have around the house.
After science night, we will be doing rockets so remember to send those liter plastic bottles. We are also planning on doing solar hot dog cookers and metric ice cream the last week of school. I'l be asking for supplies and parent help as we get closer to that date.
Please have your child in school everyday so that they can complete these projects. Thanks, carol Shaw
