We will continue with our Science Books for the next two days. Science Night is Wednesday, May the 8th at 6 at the Main campus. Renaissance Field trip for 120 plus stamps is Tuesday, May 6th. We will have our Believer's Day party on Friday, May 9th at the Rec. Center. We will be doing other projects on Wednesday and Thursday. Hope you have a great week.

We will be working on a major project this week. We are making an alphabet book of science terms. This will count as a major test grade.

We will be working on our project for Science Night. We are making an alphabet book. This will represent words from the alphabet that we have studied this year. 
This will count as a Major Grade. 
Our field trip is this Thursday. Next week on the 8th is Science night at the main campus.

Monday: We had a brain pop with notes on weathering. We finished up our paper on processes of change from the crct book. Homework: Write 5 questions from the unit on rocks and give the answers on the back. Don't use True/False 
Tuesday: We did work in our CRCT coach books. We didn't have homework. 
Wednesday: We did a Brain Pop on Fossils, took notes and did a test. We will have our end of unit test on Friday. Study guide coming tomorrow. In the mean time each student has their packets can be studying from it. 
Thursday: CRCT review. Take home study guide for Friday test. 
Friday: Test over Geology No Homework. Get plenty of rest, and PLEASE BE TO SCHOOL ALL NEXT WEEK ON TIME, EAT A GOOD BREAKFAST!!!!

Sorry this is late. 
Monday: We watched a Brain-pop video and took notes and had a quiz on Mountains. 
Tuesday: We worked on notes from the CRCT Coach book on the Lithosphere. 
Had a crossword puzzle on Volcanoes. A review crossword puzzle on Space for homework. 
Wednesday: Volcanoes worksheet continued and we did a study from the coach book on Processes of Change. 
Thursday: We watched a Brain-pop video and took notes and had a quiz on Soil. 
Tonight is McTeacher Night at McDonalds from 6 - 8. Teachers and Principals will be there. We will have some tips to help you to help your child do the best they can on CRCTest coming up. Hope to see you there. 
Friday: We will finish up any work not completed from the week.

Tuesday:Finish Rock Talk from last week. Finish Page 91 on the rock cycle.

Wednesday: Brain pop on the Earth's Structure and quiz, construct a model of the earth's center. No homework. 
Thursday: Finish our model of the inner earth. Finish any work not already finished and then read. No homework 
Friday: Experiment with 3 kinds of rocks justification for their placement. 2 worksheets, Crossword puzzle on the Kinds of Rock and word search on the rock cycle. No homework

We began our study of Rocks and minerals this week. We are doing in class projects. Be sure to ask your child what projects they chose to do. They may need some help from you with things they need and some research. Hoomework: 
Monday was a word search on minerals. 
Tuesday was to study for a quiz on vocabulary terms. 
Wednesday 2 worksheets on minerals 
Thursday Happy valentine's Day No homework because of the special day and the dance, hope to see you there. 
Friday no homework

Geology: 
Monday: Took test on Oceanography. The projects look really nice. I will keep several to use on Science Night May 8th from 6 - 8 at the main campus(more information later) 
Tuesday: Beginning our Unit on Geology. Please bring in your egg cartons or if you can send extra, I would appreciate them. 
Wednesday: Brain-pop on minerals. 
Thursday: continue with minerals unit. Progress Reports will be sent home, PLEASE SIGN AND RETURN SO I KNOW YOU SAW THEM. The Rambler News was given out on Tuesday with important dates and information, be sure to ask to see them they are pink.

Poster (3D) or a diorama 
You need to bring in either poster board or shoe box and (clay or play dough) 
depending on the project you are going to do. 
You need to label the following items:

mid-ocean ridge 
rift 
abyssal plain 
The finished project is due February 5th. We will do this in class Wednesday/Thursday.
