This week the students will learn about the Vietnam War. I have had several students express interest in learning about the war. Several of them do know why we were there so hopefully this can address some of those questions. We will more than likely have an exam over Vietnam towards the end of the week. Tomorrow students who had over 120 Renaissance Stamps are going to watch a movie. On Friday students who had over 80 Renaissance Stamps will be spending the day at LaFayette Rec.

This week we will continue looking at the students' financial futures. On Tuesday we will have a quiz over some basic Economic terms, interest rates, and bankruptcy. I know several students are concerned with their grades in Social Studies, this is due to the last quiz we had in which several students were not successful at. There will be several opportunities for the students to bring their grade up.
