Georgia Middle Grades Writing Assessment
RMS students have made great gains in the past 3 years. In 2004, 80% of 8th grade students were on target in writing performance. That number has increased to 87% last year. The scores this year are outstanding, with 92% scoring on target! Students with learning disabilities have made exceptional gains. Three years ago, only 29% scored as expected, this year 53% are on target.
