LaShondra Beasley, Chante Bethune, James Millican, and Abby Kerr, all members of Sandra Langston's First Responder class at LaFayette High School won an emergency medical management competition sponsored by Hutcheson Medical Center's Emergency Department.  Competing against six other teams, the group displayed the best response and best management of a significant trauma scenario to win trauma kits stocked with First Aid supplies and assessment equipment provided by HMC.  Instructor Sandy Langston, second from left, is shown on the back row with judges Paul Arnold, Darryl Camp, and Kevin Amick.
